If you’ve reached this help article, you are wanting to upgrade your subscription tier, but no longer have access to your original subscription method. When upgrading your subscription tier, you’ll first need to cancel your subscription through either Apple or Google, then resubscribe through our website. How to cancel through Apple:
Apple controls the customer billing for all apps with in-app purchase options. Unfortunately, this makes it so we can’t cancel the subscription on your behalf, so you’ll need to follow the below instructions or reach out directly to iTunes support. I'm sorry about that!
You can cancel your Ripl subscription by tapping "Manage Subscription" at the top of the Ripl menu. This will take you to your Apple iTunes Manage Subscriptions page where you can cancel your Ripl subscription. Please note that you will have to do it on your iOS device, elsewhere you might not be taken to the subscriptions page!
If for some reason that doesn't work, you can also follow these steps to manually access your iTunes Subscription Settings:
From your device's home page, open the iOS settings app
Tap "Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes & App Store," then tap your Apple ID and "View Apple ID." If prompted, enter your password.
Tap "Subscriptions," tap Ripl and turn off your monthly or yearly renewal option
In case you don’t have the iOS device anymore or don't wish to use it for cancellation, please follow the steps from this article to access the iTunes subscriptions page from your computer.
How to cancel through Google Play Store:
Google controls the customer billing for all apps with in-app purchase options.
You can cancel your Ripl subscription by tapping the Ripl menu, then "Manage Subscription." This will launch the Play Store app where you can tap "Manage Subscription" then "Cancel." Before clicking the "Manage subscription" link in the Ripl app, be sure you're logged into the Play Store app under the Play account you purchased Ripl under.
If for some reason that doesn't work, you can also follow these steps to access your Google Play Account from your computer:
Go to play.google.com
In the left menu, click "My Subscriptions"
Find Ripl, click Cancel Subscription
Your subscription will end when the current subscription period expires. We recommend turning off automatic renewal more than 24 hours before your renewal date because your subscription may renew at any point during the 24 hour period prior to your renewal date.
